The contains a serial number, which basically is the client, location, meters drilled, yield, year, and the geological environment in which it was drilled, that is Metamorphic, sedimentary or igneous/volcanic.
Some have traversed both terrains and thus you will find the word both in some instances referring to both igneous and metamorphics

Topographic maps of Kenya 1:50,000 produced by the Survey of Kenya, Great Britain Directorate of Military Survey, Great Britain War Office, Great Britain Air Ministry and the Great Britain War Office, General Staff. Set numbers GSGS Y731, DOS 423, DOS 23, SK 11, GSGS 4786 and DCS 23.
